My Three Weeks in a Healing Centre
To all of you, my dear clients and friends, I wanted to take a minute and share with you my amazing and challenging time at Hippocrates.
First, I want to thank all of you who contributed to my well-being with money, support and true care. My heart is filled with gratitude. Let me start by describing the grounds. The centre is located on a vast piece of land with a natural, lush tropical forest, beautiful nature, old, strong trees, animals of all kinds, ponds, streams, and fountains.
On campus, there are different buildings. My favourite one is called "Discovery", in it there were about 15 beds and reclining chairs, each connected to a different energy system machine. Each system has different programs.
All these machines work on our energy system, for example, pain relieving, clearing energy blocks, balancing brain waves, deep tissue repair, heart stabilising, etc. I had a lot of treatments there and I loved it..My second favourite building was called "Vitality", this is where all the yoga, meditation, tai chi, martial arts, and such were happening.
My third favourite building was called the "Oasis centre", this is where the psychotherapists worked, the massage people, the Reiki and the colonics. Then there was the big gym and the pool, the medical building, and the big dining and lecture hall. There were a few other small and interesting meeting places.
My challenge was the food. Even though I am used to eating pure and healthy, I have never just eaten raw vegan food, no fruit, basically some almonds, Brazil nut milk, sprouts and vegies. I had a few days when I felt sick, since it is like fasting, and the body starts to pull out toxins to release. I did get antibiotics and other medicines in the hospital, and in the first few months after the surgery, I hope it all worked out. I did get better... I know a lot about nutrition and holistic health, and I learnt even more.
The most interesting lectures for me were about the biology of feelings, how our feelings impact the body and our ability to heal. We know that, but hearing the science behind the facts was fascinating. These 3 weeks energised me and left me knowing more, trusting even deeper and looking forward to continuous strength and healing. The challenge was worth it.
I send you my love.
