Lectures on any of the subjects on this list are available. 1. IN-DEPTH SELF-EXPLORATION AND SELF-HEALING WORKSHOPS
At times, we fear change or are not sure about how to move forward. Through activities that include therapeutic processes, vision hikes, sacred mandala making, poetry writing, and expression through music, sound and movement this workshop aids and supports participants with the inner process of renewal and change.
A workshop that facilitates exploration and expression of "difficult to handle" feelings such as fear, anger, desire, conflict, longing and grief. Participants learn to identify and experience feelings in a safe and supportive environment and then express them constructively to others in the group. Words, art works, body and facial movement, sounds and silence will be used as well as props, masks, materials and musical instruments.
This workshop will provide participants with a safe place and effective processes to complete unresolved love matters. When not resolved these hurtful residues block our ability to love again. The workshop will give participants the opportunity to revisit these love wounds, heal them and create the openness to give and receive love.
A workshop that uses meditative processes like inner-journeys, guided imagery, visions, insights, and spontaneous surges of memories to discover, understand and accept hidden layers of 'self'. By integrating these layers we grow into stronger, more conscious people.
Connection to self and expression result in personal integration and a sense of wholeness and strength. This workshop integrates Bio-energetics, Gestalt, psychodrama, primal therapy, and the arts in a unique method to support participants as they reclaim and liberate their individual expression. Using movement, writing, sound, art and music, participants will be given the tools and the opportunity to connect to their authentic selves and expand their ability to express themselves freely.
This workshop is designed to explore the meaning of intimacy and help participants achieve greater ability to relate to loved ones in a deeper and more meaningful way. In this workshop participants will become aware of personal obstacles that prevent them from developing these fulfilling relationships with loved ones. They will observe their patterns of isolation, dependency, control or rejection of self and others as well as the feelings that underline these patterns. By learning to recognize these patterns and gaining practical tools to heal them, the ability to be intimate is achieved.
Self-love and care is very important for a healthy life. This practical workshop will teach participants to become aware of their needs, to honor and respect them and find creative and constructive ways to fulfill them. We will attend to all levels of self-care from the physical to the emotional and spiritual.
Addictions have many faces. Food addictions, sex addictions, work addictions, substance addictions, relationship addictions. All addictions cover unfulfilled and unrecognized inner-need. This workshop will help participants understand the feelings that are underneath their addictions and learn to connect and support those needs instead of covering them up with the addiction pattern.
We are here to know and celebrate our divinity. Each one of us travels a very personal path toward self-realization. We each have personal lessons to learn and challenges we need to meet. What are your personal lessons? Challenges? What are your individual, unique talents, gifts, soul desires? What is your path of service and expression? This will be a workshop for meditating, praying, questioning, and discovering, in the company of other people who are investigating the same questions.
In this workshop participants will explore subconscious personal and collective myths, archetypes, inner tales and dreams. We will create stories with the purpose of integrating the personal and the collective subconscious as well as male-female aspects of oneself. Story telling and creative writing will assist this fun-filled adventure.
The ability to celebrate ourselves, others, and all of life's aspects is a powerful way of living. The state of celebration encompasses understanding, acceptance, expression, gratitude, trust in the greater order of the universe, and appreciation of all experiences. Celebration embraces life, dances with it. Judgments, blame, self-rejection, and addictive patterns are some of the many ways we block the celebration of our aliveness. This workshop will allow participants to experience and witness when and how they might be in the way of their ability to celebrate themselves and their life. It will empower participants to move beyond obstacles and enjoy life.
In this workshop we will use a unique process developed by Nomi Bachar. Intuitive witnessing of the body's sensations and energies brings forth images, insights and memories. These tell us what is blocked and reveal a path to healing. Feelings are released and expressed and deep connections that lead us to greater awareness and wholeness are made. 2. DEVELOPING CREATIVITY WORKSHOPS
In this playful workshop participants explore and enjoy their own natural and spontaneous expression through movement. Music, poetry, sound, image and color are used to inspire movement.
This course teaches improvisation skills and basic acting techniques. Working in several small groups, participants create short group plays and perform them for each other. Creative, collaborative, and expressive skills are developed in a fun and playful environment.
Our creativity is the expression of the divine through us. This workshop will use writing, movement, drawing and sound to facilitate and strengthen our creativity and free our spiritual selves, bringing us closer to our divine nature.
Personal journal writing, poetry, short stories and inner dialogues will be used in this workshop to develop creative writing and communication skills as well as self-awareness. 3. MOVING TOWARDS SUCCESS WORKSHOPS
A course in effective communication, personal as well as professional. Participants will learn to be clear, precise, expressive and assertive. They will learn to listen, take in, evaluate, respond and avoid re-activeness, blaming, dumping and attacking. Negotiation, making requests and toleration of differences will also be addressed.
A practical workshop to reduce stress. We will use a unique process of listening to the tension in the body as well as in the mind. This process will help participants identify and understand sources of stress. Breathing techniques, specific physical exercises, gentle emotional release processes, simple self-massage and self-acupressure techniques will provide support and comfort proven to reduce stress.
A course to support the ability to clearly define goals and create realistic timetables on which to achieve them. Participants will learn to recognize self-sabotage and procrastination and gain the ability to confront them. Participants will develop a commitment to vision and learn to stay focused and responsible.
In this workshop, participants learn to observe and experience their interference with own aliveness. The first half of the workshop creates enhanced awareness of the body, often revealing shallow breathing and tension in specific areas. Behavioral patterns of holding back, suppressing, controlling or contracting are explored. The second part of the workshop is designed to confront and release the self-destructive patterns.
An effective workshop to build character and provide tools for success. In this workshop, participants will confront self-defeating habits, fears and lack of self-esteem. They will be taught success skills, such as strengthening confidence and self-respect, setting and achieving goals, staying focused on vision and building constructive and creative communication and work habits.
A workshop designed to strengthen one's sense of inner and physical beauty. Most of us are not taught to see and appreciate our own beauty. We find ourselves struggling to look better and many times feel inferior. This workshop will help participants to let go of self-criticizing, demeaning and comparing habits, and build the ability to accept and appreciate one's own uniqueness and beauty.
Living in a society where models are our example of beauty a lot of us develop strong criticism and dislike of our body. We are driven to diets and extreme forms of work-outs. We live in constant frustration and rejection of ourselves and our bodies. This workshop will help participants identify and heal these extremely destructive patterns of relating to our body.
The aim of this workshop is to gain the ability to calm the body-mind in order to find the relaxed centered state of natural aliveness and responsiveness. Participants are taught meditation techniques and Hatha Yoga postures.
